I was hosting my website from my QNAP NAS but I found I was constantly updating and fiddling with it. This caused my website to be down a lot. I recently started using GitLab as a code repository and realized it was so much more. I did some research on GitLab Pages and was able to move my HUGO site from my QNAP to GitLab. I first created a GitLab project and added a Continuous Integration yaml file .

This morning I wanted to update from go 1.10 to go 1.11.2. I am currently using ubuntu 18.04. These are the steps I took to update my system. Go version 1.11.2 First update ubuntu. sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get -y upgrade Downloaded latest go version, unpack and cleanup. cd /tmp wget sudo tar -xvf go1.11.2.linux-amd64.tar.gz rm go1.11.2.linux-amd64.tar.gz Remove old go and replace with new go. sudo rm -rf /usr/local/go sudo mv go /usr/local Update go paths and system path.

This is how I installed Unity on Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS. At the time of this post I went to the last post in the following thread in the Unity Forum follow the instructions to the download of the Unity Editor. At the time of this post, the file I downloaded UnitySetup-2018.2.7f1. Open a terminal and go to where the file was downloaded and make the file executable: chmod +x UnitySetup-2018.2.7f1 Now execute the executable:
